Here at Dachshunds 4 You, our goal is to bring the joy of owning a Dachshund into your life! Both my husband and I had a dachshund as we were growing up, and they were the most wonderful dogs. I guess we are in our second childhood, as here we are again.....owning dachshunds! We only have a few, as we want to be able to give them all of the attention that they need, and give them the best possible care that they need too.
We raise beautiful red, black & tan, piebald, and dapple AKC mini Dachshunds in both smooth and long coats. Our dogs have beautiful physical qualities as well as wonderful personality traits. All of our pups have had their first shot and wormed 3 times by the time they head off to their new homes. Oh, and did I mention that our four kids pre-spoil them for you ahead of time too?
So, settle down and look around a spell and join us in small-town Oklahoma........where dogs are still mans best friend, and if it's going to be your best friend...it really should be a Dachshund as well!

Hi Donna,
I just wanted to give you an update on Cocoa now that we are home. She has found a new play mate with Daffney my other female Dachshund. They have been running and wrestling and just having a ball. So all has went better than I anticipated. She was so cute this morning she just kept running back to my son and sitting there just waiting for him to wake up.
I took her to the vet today and just as promised she is in perfect health. I want to thank you again for giving us the opportunity to purchase Cocoa. She is just a doll! I will keep you updated from time to time. I know how hard it was to give Cocoa up, but she already has us wrapped around her little paw.

I bought a red female in August 2004. Donna helped me through the process by answering all my questions and sending me pictures of my puppy. Donna showed a lot of concern for her dogs and it shows. I have a healthy, active, spoiled puppy. I've had my puppy 5 months now and already I want another one. I would definitely look to buy another puppy from Donna. Erika Sawyer

Well he's here! Everything went fine. The papers were right where you said. He is such a love. I can't get over how much cuter he is in person. The pictures didn't do him justice. He's already claimed my lap as his own personal space.
Thanks so much, this was much easier than I thought it would be. I am so glad that I got him.
Thanks again, I'll let you know what the kids thought, my nephew is "in love'. He thinks he's just the right size for him. My nephew is 4.

Hi Donna,
Just wanted to send a couple pics to show you how my boy is doing. We named him Aiello's Handsome Harry. My husband and I couldn't agree on a name, so when we first got him I called him to me saying, "come here you hairy boy" and "come here you handsome boy", so he thought that was his name, and started coming to either! What a sweety! Smart! House broken, he goes to the door and barks to go out, sits, lays, rolls over, comes on command, and he's only 6 months old! He's a laid back easy going gentleman, loves the cats and anyone he meets. Very socialized too. We just got back from a vacation in Florida, and you can see he loved Disney World and had to have his own set of Mickey ears, *grin*. Harry has the most luxurious coat of hair, thick, long and silky. His tail is just getting where the fluff is showing instead of curling around the tail, so cute! He's Daddy's boy, follows my husband everywhere. When his hair is all grown in I'll send an update photo for you to see. Everywhere we take him people want to keep him, he's a kiss and snuggler. Thanks for a great member of the family!
